We love children!
At the Crossing, we don’t want to just ‘babysit’ your children for you while you are in the church service. We care for your kids. From the nursery through the students in 5th grades, we nurture and love your kids. We desire that their experience in our children’s programs be one of their first views of a loving God.
In the Nursery
, our volunteers lovingly rock, sing to, care for, and pray over your children who are birth to 17 months old.
area is full of games, toys, snack time and songs. Each class has volunteers who are excited to get down on the floor and have fun with the children 17 months through three years of age.
Preschool – Kindergarten
is an age of discovery through everything a child does. We believe that at this age a child’s world is bursting with newness. Each day is filled with one discovery after another; where did that come from, how does that work? We want our time with these children to be one of the first impressions of their heavenly Father and the wonder of His love for each one of them.
is a place for 1st – 5th graders. It’s their own place, where they can worship, play some games with purpose, learn about Jesus and build relationships with their peers. Project 249 is named from the scripture of Luke 2:49 “Don’t you know, I must be about My Father’s business?”
When Jesus was just 12 years old, He knew He had something to do for God. We believe that even at a young age God can speak to and work through our children. We want to build and develop their relationship with Jesus so that they will ‘be about my Father’s business’. We use music, media, and the Word to engage these students to build one-on-one relationship with Jesus and to share that with those around them in their world.
